4l60e trans
Has anyone out there on the forum rebuilt one of these themselves? They guys at Monster Transmissions say that it is easy if you have some mechanical knowledge. I dont know, looks intimidating. Please give my your take.

Re: 4l60e trans
I haven't tried YET!!! I did purchase a rebuild book from a trans shop that details every step. I've been looking for a core to practice on. My daily driver is working fine so I'll let it be for now. 4l60 4l60e and 700r4 trans are all the same, the only thing that makes them different is the electronics. That is from the info in the book and a rebuilder friend. They are all planetary and only use one shaft. Try it its not rocket science.......
