Truck wont idle!
86 with quadrajet,This happened all of the sudden. It starts everytime but When it first starts it runs for a sec then starts to lop real bad wanting to die, but if you rev it up a little it runs fine. It doesnt want to Idle .Maybe its running to lean???. I Dont know how to adjust anything on these computer controlled carbs so i dont know where to start!.And my wife wont let me spend money at a shop on it! haha any ideas is greatly appreciated.

First things first. Go through every vacuum line and check it over. Also check your PCV valve.

It does sound like a vacuum leak. You could spray carb cleaner around in spurts to pinpoint the location of the leak. When the carb cleaner gets around the leak the idle will pick up. That's if you can keep it running long enough.
