tire question
has anyone tried the B.F.G. Krawler T/A tires. I was thinking of these for my 84 k10. Truck will see mostly offroad (mud and trails no rock crawling) unless I make it street legal, haven't decided yet. 35x12.50r15 tks

Re: tire question
I like my BFG ALL TERRAIN radial ta's. I use them in deep snow. Had them on since 2003 and still going.

Re: tire question
I have the BFG AT (285 85 r 16). I have put them to the test this last year!
Deep snow, deep/thick mud & water. I never got stuck. There were a lot of people that didn't go were we went! Good for us! I do have several emergency insurance plans, but I haven't had to use any of them yet (Knock on wood)! These tires cut right down and clean out quickly! |

Re: tire question
From what I have seen the krawler is a great tire. But if you are most likely going to not be running on the street, why not go another better suited route? Like a mean bias ply. Something like Interco LTB's, or pit bulls. Or, do what I would do and look into AG tires. The Alaska guys seem to swear by them. And if it ain't on the road, no DOT to worry about...
