Question for everyone.......
I just got my concrete poured in my shop.Is any of the concrete sealing products any good?????Witch one should I use?????Is it more work in the long run??????or should I just leave the floor alone??????? Thanks In advance!!!!

Really depends on what you will be doing in the garage.
I coated the floor in my previous garage and wished I hadn't. I weld and fabricate in the garage and don't want a slick floor, or one that will chip. My current garage floor I did not seal. If I spill anything I toss kitty litter on it, let it soak it up, cleanup the kitty liter, then throw some more down and scuff it into the floor with my feet. Then clean that up. It does a great job of cleaning up spills. For small spills I use brake cleaner. So, for what it's worth, I say no, don't seal it. Last edited by lakeroadster; 01-31-2011 at 10:07 PM. |

I've done concrete work for 30 years now, and I use Ashford Formula on mine. It's a silicate based sealer and surface hardener that is fairly inexpensive and easy to apply. Ashford is a brand name, there are other similar products.
