Re: You'd be crazy not to buy this!

Here's the scoop: the truck is definitely all there but it is beat pretty bad and hasn't been run since 2002. When he pulled it out of where it sat he royally screwed the front bumper and broke the mounts on the frame. So disapointing. So, I need your guys' help to decide if I should buy it and for what price. He is asking $1500. Here are a bunch of pics I took today.

a couple more:

He does have all three seats. The others are in his garage and seem in fairly good shape.

Re: You'd be crazy not to buy this!

The floor boards are rusted out but that seems to be all of the rust through. The roof is really nice and the windshield and tailgate are pretty rust free as well. What do you guys think?

In my opinion, it's still a fair deal, I bet he will take a grand though. I paid a thousand for mine with a barely running engine , no brakes and in dire need of body parts. I'm thrilled with mine, and if that were closer it would be hidden where my wife wouldn't know about it for a while.

I'm no expert, and I'm cheap, but I'd part with a grand to get that truck any day.

I'd go a thousand on it. It looks to be all there, kinda rough though. Most burbs I see around here have huge dents in the lower rear, looks like this one only has minor scratches. Is the black thing at the left of dash a rifle mount?

Yup. It's a rifle mount. The passenger side quarter panel is pretty beat. That is what I am worried about the most. There are no repo's for this are there?

I've never seen one re-popped. The pics are deceiving it just looks like scratches. You might be able to cut one out at All American here in Vancouver, far from free though. You ever been there? They have at least two burbs right now. Ones a 60 4x4 I believe.

Yeah, I know that place. Everything is $100. Trunk lid $100, bumper $100, kick in the face $100....

Re: You'd be crazy not to buy this!

Sounds about right. A guy that works there tried to sell me a rusted out Buick bumper on cl for $700 bucks, and when I told him he was out of his.mind and said "you must work at all american" he not only told me that he did infact work there, but also got very upset at my implications. Was your truck on cl a couple weeks ago? It looks really clean. Dig the colors too!

Re: You'd be crazy not to buy this!

I agree.....I would offer him a grand and see what he says. If he says no then start working up from there, if you feel it is worth more to you.

With a little work you can use short fleetside bed patch panels on a Burb.
