I ride my Mt bike on the hiway on occasion and I have seen many laying on the side of the road! I think by the time guys get done putting a new tranny in, they get lazy, lose the bolts and use something "close" or just don't bother to tighten them up all the way. Next time I see one I'm going to pick it up.
