Detroit True Trac
Any of you guys running a Detroit True Trac, A local driveline shop here has one for sale. No one here has ran one, I'm used to running a Eaton posi unit. If anyone out there has one please let me know how it works or if anyone has a used Eaton Posi unit for sale(non-govlok).

Re: Detroit True Trac
I have one in my 68 Chevelle that I autocross/road course. They are great and make it alot easier to corner without "posi push" or to reduce power oversteer. They send only the power to the tire/tires that have traction without the posi clatter that a tight positraction can have. I have run both in performance cars and I will use a True-Trac everytime I can.

Re: Detroit True Trac
Have one in my dads truck. Works great, but if in a very slippery situation (stuck in Snow/ice) it wont lock without a little e brake.

Re: Detroit True Trac
Tru-Tracs are about the best posi I know. 4wd guys use them up front because of how well they give you "lock" when you need it and "free-spin" for steering. They work great on launching in the rear.
