vintage air a/c clearances?
it's time to figure out what way to go with the a/c. so....
has anyone used the super size? 24" long, or the compaq, 20" long? once installed, how much room from the unit to the glove box door? enough for a hidden radio? , what's the difference in the binary and trinary switch?..what about compressor brackets? I will need to move the alt on the 350 over to the dr. side, |

Re: vintage air a/c clearances?
I have the unit that's made for the TF truck, and no radio going in the glove box at all.

Re: vintage air a/c clearances?
I would have almost no room for a stereo in my glove box. It is hard to tell how short my glove box will be until I finish the install.
If you are running electric fans you will need a trinary switch. If you are running a fan driven off the water pump you will use a Binary switch. I could sell you a binary switch if you need one because I ended up needing a trinary switch. As for compressor brackets my are from Street and performance because Im running an LT1 motor. Marc
