LCA question

Going to pick and pull tommorrow to pull a pair of LCA's for my 84' 2wd will LCA's from 73-87 2wd's be compatible with my 84' I don't want to spend time pulling the wrong thing.

i have a lca from a 83 1/2 ton on my 78 3/4 ton even there a bit diffrent but they do sit the same.. but the ball joint on the 83 is alot smaller then the one from the 78 so it doesnt fit in the steering knuckle had to switch the balljoint out
