here's an old pic of my "tucked hiney".tight huh?by the way,my tailgate doesn't open.it's low enough if i do haul anything i can chuck it over the side.

got the bumper bolted in today needs a lot of adjustment and more bolts holding the brackets on

Flaming that looks good, did you tuck it closer to the body and your tailgate still opens? what are you going to use for the tag mount? i wish i had more of these trucks sitting in junkyards around here but miami sucks for finding old parts. Anyone have another way i can mount my tag? I hate when i have to buy stuff like that when people just got them thrown around.

its tucked, the tail gate opens just fine, for the tag I'll use L shaped brackets for now

Can't you just use your truck outer brackets on the suburban/blazer bumpers? Cause I'm thinking about snagging up a suburban bumper next week....and I don't want to have to buy new brackets or fabricate my own

Yes... and you really dont need the inners... I had my installed without inner brackets for over 5yrs. I installed dummy bolts.

Can you put a hidden hitch behind it and use something on the plate to fold it down to access the reciever inlet?
