This ever happen to anyone?

I have a 70 lwb truck air bagged with ART arms up front and ART Triangulated 4 link in the rear with RE-7's. So There I was driving down the road when the truck got some vibrations in it and the threw out a small shower of sparks. Pulled over and saw that the carrier bearing had come loose from the cross member. Got the truck home and saw this,

So now my question is, How do I fix it? How have some of you guys out there taken care of the problem before it even happened? Anymore info needed from me for you guys to help me please fell free to ask, I can even take more pics if need be.

Thanks
Steve

Great Rivets is the fun I was looking for. Since I got the vibrations just before this let loose on me, how do I figure out the way to get my correct angles on the two piece drive shaft?
