Key cylinder issues

Any technicians in here i need your help ASAP.Long story short my dad lost the keys to my oldsmobile and the car needs to be moved.Cant really afford a locksmith right now and i need to know how to replace a key cylinder without having the other key?Is this a difficult process or fairly easy?Techs please let me know as fast as possible as i have to have my car moved by tomorrow.

Not hard you will need a few specailty tools. I believe the manual I had said that you had to have the key turned to the run position to remove it but I have never had to, so if you dont have the key its ok. Here's a how to on youtube.
