Re: How many leaves should I run in 56" springs?

i went with 56 inch springs off a cucv truck for my 68. the spring center pin isnt the same as the factory spring so i had to run the springs backwards and use an 1.5 zerorate block from diy4x4 to move the axle forward, but its still a half an inch back from factory spec, but i doubt anyone will even notice it. i used the rear hangers and shackles from the same truck. over all it ended up giving me a little more than 4inches of lift in the rear. as for the ride of it, i have no idea yet as im not done building the truck :waah

cucv springs (top) and stock 68 spring (bottom)

after i finished up getting everything measured out and bolted up.

i took the top overload spring and spacer block out and left everything else on, theres 9 leafs left in the pack.

gave it some army green accents to set it off
