Parking brake levers

I am working on my brakes, 1965 C10, stock six lug axles. I need the parking brake levers that go on this truck. Any suggestions as to where I can get a kit, or the seperate parts. There is the left and righ levers, as well as a pivot pin with a c-clip.

I am in the Montreal, Quebec area.

Thanks

Ken

Re: Parking brake levers

Your handle should be on the left of the column. I looked at LMC and didnt see anything.

Are you referring to the levers that mount on the frame ?

Re: Parking brake levers

I have gone to GM with the parts numbers listed by Aerotruck63, they are in stock, 22.00$ a piece, and they cannot tell me if they include the pivot pin and the c-clip. I just thought someone would have gone through this before and could guide me to the best solution.

The levers I am looking for, are inside the brake drum. Where the end of the cable hooks up to.

Re: Parking brake levers

They don't come with the c clips from GM, they do have the pins. We ordered a box of 100 clips from Papco removed two then sent the box back. Ask Jim or Rob,Were bad! I`d give a call to Fastenal in your area and check to see if they sell them individually. You can order from GM as well but at what cost. Princess Auto should sell a kit, then what do you do with the rest. Dorman, Moog, dosen`t sell the levers we looked at all our suppliers, nada. Norm 514-695-5795

I`ve seen guys use a self locking nut and bolt to hold the lever on, not original but it works.

Re: Parking brake levers

Try these guys: http://www.obschevy.com/

They have them. Look in the brake section.

Spreaser bar can be had from LMC, or Dorman.

Re: Parking brake levers

Aerotruk63 & maxwoof, thanks for the info and link. Seems like obsolete is the route to take. It comes as a kit and is less than the GM dealer.
