New To the site
Hello My name is Mike and I have 2 1986 chevys. I am 16 and live in Pennsylvania. I have looked around this site multiple time for answers and i thought it was time to join and share info I know and share stories. I have pictures of the 2 and 1/2 trucks I have right now. First one is my truck that i paid for buy my self the second one me and my dad went 50/50 with and the 3rd one is are parts truck which my grandfather bought new in 1986 and only have 66xxx on it. Right now i am trying to get money together to get a M1028 dually to put back together if the guy will still be willing to sell it when i get the money together.

I thought I would post some pictures of what my parts truck and plow truck looked like before rust got a hold of em. Those red fenders have made there rounds...My plow truck is the fourth truck they have been and still no rust on them.I hope to repaint my plow truck this summer

Cool trucks , Guy down there road has a miitary truck and a blazer both are diesel, he drives em everywhere , welcome from Ohio

You gotta rid of all that white stuff all over the parts truck. We dont have any of that white stuff down here.

Big Blue ( John ) 79 Chevy Pick up.....My Dailey STILL Working on a frame up: 1987 Truck body on a 78 Blazer frame. Need cab blasted to start project. Got the cab BLASTED, Now Prep and Paint. Started to lay SOME BONDO and primer. Done, Ordering paint. Got paint, Stuff painted,Cab,Fenders, Hood more later. 9/7/2015 Got the clear coat on,now time to take one off. Started to put things back (What a nightmare) like the heating and AC stuff,inside wire harness, outside AC unit and booster, still more. May 2016, still working on the inside. Got duck work in,heating and AC. Radio (stock) in dash with after market in console later, Speaker are hooked up, Steering column is in. Getting ready to drop the cab onto the frame, Working on engine now since I have the room. Well here it is 2018, got the engine in and it runs, now I need to get the exhaust system in so I can adjust the lifters, to loud right now. Got the exhaust on now I am waiting for the break parts to come in. |
