Airmale??
I FORGOT to ask you if your truck was lowered and how . I was overall impressed by the way_first class for a daily ride_ . But I guess I'll have to wait for the mystery big block to get "scare the S--T out of you" ride I was going to get although the curve full of rocks had my OTHER cheeks puckering a bit.
DAVE last night shift tonight then a few days off to finally rid myself of the Blazer #1 and get Blazer #2

Hey Dave,
I have the basic Western Chassis 2 1/2 spindles and 1 1/2 springs up front and 4 inch drop springs and shackles in the rear. By the way, I think I got a bite on the 383. A guy in Oklahoma might be interested. Have you ever shipped a complete motor? I could use some advice.

wow. lowered more than I thought . I thought it was mostly rim/tire selection.
FREIGHT=I only own a few wood working tools ( I prefer to weld stuff together!) But I have built 6 or 7 crates and shipped 2 complete engines , 1 engine /trans combo, 1 disassembled engine, and a bare block.. start out by using www.freightquote.com (free) you'll need his Zip code , you can try it a few ways ,but I like to figure on NON -residential pickup/delivery and that can save as much as $150 . in other words plan on dropping off/pickup at a near by depot. As far as the class goes I use class80 I think . the rest of this is way to involved for my typing skills but I can help if you call. DAVE

Class 85 covers new equipment and most carriers insure for up to $25/pound.

Is there such a thing as C.O.D. freight? This guy asked me...I guess he wants to be safe.

You would have to check with the freight company on that one. You can send it freight collect and have him pay for the freight charges whenever he receives it.

I know about freight collect but wasn't sure about C.O.D. If anyone knows for sure, let me know. Hello Dave?
