Aftemarket Hoods

I have been thinking about maybe doing a tunnel ram on my 64 rat rod truck. But as it sits now I would have to cut the hood for clearance. I have an old home made cowl hood but it didn't turn out near like any of us hoped and was a waste of 2 repairable hoods sadly. Sence then I can't bring myself to cut up another hood that's even remotely repairable to modify. So my question is does anyone make a steel or fiberglass cowl hood for our trucks? I mean entire hood not on of these cowls you bolt on then cut your hood

Re: Aftemarket Hoods

US Body source does offer cowl induction glass hoods but the fit and finish is questionable, or at least on the one I know of somebody using.

Apparently they offer both a 2" as well as a 4" version.

Are you sure a tunnel ram wont fit under the stock hood? Perhaps different air cleaners or???
