Smile ebay C10 - not mine - for some reason, I just really like this little truck...

maybe it's his superior taste in wheels and tires.... (i.e. they are exactly the same wheel/tire combo I used to have on my truck)

Price seems ok to me, maybe a little steep if you're gonna break it down and throw a V8 in, but seems to be a solid little fixer upper. (keep in mind, where I just moved from in snow country, a truck in this shape DID go for the $6-10K range... I'm happy to be in the DRY southwest once again now though).

Aint diggin the bed, but you know... happy hunting. I don't think this is the first time this truck has been on ebay.

Nice, I like the fact that it has the I6 and 3 speed, just gotta love that.

Oh by the way, I am pretty sure the TH350 isnt stock at all, PG and TH400 was all the autos available IIRC.

i agree clyde, TH350 not available yet - TH400 was available in pass cars in late 65 models (impalas, etc) - and as far as I know, only PGs came in trucks thru 66. Someone a lot smarter than me could tackle that specific question though (i.e. TH400 available in 66 trucks).

the only reason I mention the TH400 is that LMC has some stuff in their rag that suggests they were available, maybe for the 3/4 ton and above?

good point, that makes sense considering it was available in 65. I've just never seen any ref to it as an option in 65-66 - but I normally look at C10 stuff. Interesting!

TH400s were available, starting in 1966.

pretty sure the TH400 was only available with the 3/4 ton Custom Camper option for 1966.

It was a 3 speed manual. if you read in his discription he says:

"The rockers are fair and the cab floor has a couple of poorly-done patches from an earlier conversion from a 3-on-the-tree to the automatic."
