Unfortunately no. I cleared him out. He even said he has new beauty rings laying around he would give me for FREE!! I was in awe.. Then he gave me a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon and talked about engines and such. Cool Guy..MY KIND OF GEARHEAD. I mocked the one up on my spare. Now I might paint my wheels black. lol... its always one decision or the other with these trucks.

Re: Scored some new centers today
I hope you know those plastic lug covers screw onto the lug nuts. Only problem is the lug nuts are metric thread. Won't fit on your truck. And the covers are held on by the plastic lug covers. Good luck finding some metric studs to fit your new caps.

Re: Scored some new centers today
Already know that, but thank you for info. I'm gonna do what Longhorn Man did and tap them from the backside. They are much shallower than mine and its a nice look worth the extra effort.

Re: Scored some new centers today
I'd rather not use the lugnuts to hold it on, I had a vehical with that set up and it was annoying. If you overtighted the plasit lug they would strip or break. If, I do not go with longhorn mans way of doing it, I may make a plate for the backside of the center piece. Paint it to rim color, and drill six smaller holes in it. Fasten it with sheetmetal screws to the backside of the center. God knows they left plenty of spots on the backside to tap. I'll fab something up tommorow.

Re: Scored some new centers today
I really like the look of these (chrome ones) on rallyes and even other wheels.
My '92 came with duplex lugs w/ screw-on caps holding the centers on. I've been changing and rotating tires for 19 years and 276,000 miles and never thought it was a hassle or had any problems. I have lost maybe 4 plastic lugs in all that time and just pop another on. They're cheap and simple. If you just take them off before going to the tire store and put them on when you get home they will never get stripped. They're the simple solution, they fill out the hole.

Re: Scored some new centers today
Well... got a few extra minutes in my garage today and got the centers to work. I just pulled the plastic plugs out of the back of the centers, Tapped 3 of them with a quarter 20, and screwed them on from the back. Heres some picks if it help anyone in the future.
