1st Topless Ride

I took my 1st topless ride in my K5 today. I live in Annapolis Md and it was degrees today, they are calling for a great warm weekend. I had neighbor help me take the lid off. I washed it up and took off! What a ride, I even go a thumbs up.

Re: 1st Topless Ride

Two weeks ago it was sunny and 58 degrees here and the top almost came off. Of course, it's been rainy and cold since then. It's warmed all the way up to 45 degrees today, but it's still overcast with a cold breeze. Sigh.

Re: 1st Topless Ride

58 degrees? That cold whether here in Phoenix! Our high right now is about 80 degrees. If I wasn't moving in about a week then it would be off right now!

Re: 1st Topless Ride

I hate you all! it will be several weeks before I can even drive mine. And probably
2 to 2-1/2 months before I can yank the top off.

YB - Edmonton is not roadster country!!! Haven't we had this conversation? You should trade me the 2wd for my f-150 4x4. The heater works great and it fires at -40 no problem.

Re: 1st Topless Ride

It wouldn't matter to me if topless season was only a month long, I still wouldn't get rid of my 2wd. It is by far one of the best automotive feelings out there.

Re: 1st Topless Ride

Texas Topless here! About 80 yesterday in Galveston. Took a trip Friendswood to Surfside, up the Blue Water Hwy. and into Galveston.

Ended up at a cruise night at the Home Depot.

Re: 1st Topless Ride

Just got back from running around town, I took the K5 down to the RIver and took a couple of pics you guys asked for. I just put the chrome bumper on, it had a winch/bumper on it that did not work. I am waiting for Spring Carlisle to buy the lights, brackets and other stuff. I get thumbs up every where I go in this!

Re: 1st Topless Ride

Man you guys are fortunate! Mine is in the shop and won't be done until around May sometime. Plus I live in AZ where it's going to be 100+ by then. My first topless ride won't happen until like October...
