if our weather ever clears up you need to take a very long road trip. wrecking yards out here a full of square body trucks. i have seen several really nice beds in the past. i know it's a long drive but maybe you could gather enough good sheetmetal to re-sell and cover expenses. or, post a thread for anyone doing a cross country trip that might be willing to haul a bed for gas money and leap frog it your way. just an idea.

You would not even need to go all the way to the west coast. I am amazed at the number of short beds and pretty nice square body trucks, blazers and suburbans that go to the junk yard and end up being scrapped here in Colorado.
