th350 leak

when my truck sits it leaks atf. but not so much when its running and under pressure ? anyways . looks like from the lock up switch for the trrouqeconvertteer lock up. witch us un-hooked. any ideas? the shifter seal is new. and the pan gasket is new

could be tailshaft seal, maybe speedo cable/gear area....??

found the leak. its the lock up plug up the drivers side. anyone know where i can get a new plug? even know im not hooking itup. just to hold fluid from coming out of the thing

I replaced mine 6 or 8 years ago. I bought it locally from a place that most of the transmission shops buy from. I looked on bulkpart.com, but couldn't find it. I have never dealt with them, but have seen others recommend them.

vent is on driver side toward the top...reach up there and see if fluid is coming down the side from top.

nope not there. its the plug. i drained the fluid and cleaned the area and put rtv all around it. going to add atf tomorrow and see if it leaks
