bear brakes front disc
I called bear brake today to find out about front disc told them i had a set of early classic drop spindles, and was told they did not have a setup for those spindles. Apparently they only have some for the cpp drop spindles SO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN THE TO

Baer uses McGaughy's spindles and machine the stock caliper ears off. Then a bracket (3/8"), mounts to the spindle, to bolt on a corvette brake caliper.

He had said something about not cutting spindles up anymore i wasn't for sure what he was talking about So apparently cpp spindles don't need cut like the others and if they were cutting these tips of maybe thier not using the McGaughy's anymore either intresting

Not sure about the McGaughy's and what spindles they require but I know certain brake manufacturers require the use of specific brand spindles to fit.
Wilwood, for example, also requires a CPP spindle to fit on our trucks. Bummer since I have the ECE 2.5inch spindles and would have to change them out just to run the Wilwoods. |
