Big Block Temperature Sensor Questions
I just swapped a454 big block into my 71. Where should I locate the temperature sending unit on the engine? (Currently it is on the drivers side head of the 73 and up motor) And what wire color/connector hooks up to the sender itself? I just bought a brand new engine harness from Brothers so I'm not sure where it goes on this motor.

Re: Big Block Temperature Sensor Questions
The location on the engine will be good. The small blocks have the sender on the driver's side head between cylinders 1 and 3 so the wiring should work out.
The factory wire for the sender is green. Jim
