Sold The Beast - So long for me...
Well, I took some cash, signed over the title, and then helped load it up and watched it leave on a trailer....
Loaded and ready: Leaving me: Told the gentleman about the forum and hope he comes and pays y'all a visit. As for me, I don't have a Chevy truck, or any truck for that matter, anymore so it's so long for me. I'll pop in every once in a while or if the bug bites again, I'll be on the classifieds again.... Y'all been great - take care, God Bless!

Just because you don't have a truck doesn't mean you can't still hang out here.

Is there truly life beyond these trucks? Must be a scary dark place. Stay in touch. I'd like reports on how this way of life is.

Re: Sold The Beast - So long for me...
I still hang around even if I have not touched my trucks in a long time. It seems life has a way of taking us away from them at times.
I still hang around though and enjoy hearing how others are doing on their projects. Good luck on future projects and surf in now and then.

Re: Sold The Beast - So long for me...
Mine's gone a year plus now, & I still miss it most every day. I check in here nearly daily to keep pace.
Still hoping for this damn economy & sucky real estate market to turn around, & I'll be back in the game someday. Got a couple of "possibles" spotted hiding out in the weeds & the hills. |

Re: Sold The Beast - So long for me...
Almost exactly a year ago I sold off 5 of my trucks (not all '67 - '72 trucks) and promised the wife I would get stuff done around the house (still working on that)! Couldn't hardly stand it...and, as you can see from my signature block, I went without a '67 - '72 for some time. Gonna' fix that!! I made a deal, I have sent some money, and I'm now waiting on the transporter to show up!
Hate to see you sold your truck...but, you'll be back!!
