I've heard bad things about AC-Delco rebuilds. Not Goodwrench mind you, that is a different line. AC-Delco are contracted rebuilds that are done by the lowest bidder. I was at a dealer this weekend (picking up that crew cab I was talking about a few weeks ago...) and a motorhome that had gone through three of the AC-Delco 350s came limping in. That's enough to make me stay away.

I will be purchasing a Goodwrench 350 shortly though...

They are definitely cheaper. I was looking for a 454 TBI and AC Delco was $2900. Compared to $4500 for a new GM,88-95, 454 TBI engine.

I do not know about the ac delco rebuilds.

I have had a crate goodwrench 350 in my truck for years now without any internal engine problems. I do not know the actual miles of this engine as I switched the gauge and didnt keep track in the first place. Still runs sweet. Has good power, but of course its not enough for some of us...... I wish it had more! For $1200-$1400 w/ 3 year warranty you cant go wrong.
