wheel center measurement

I don't have a micrometer and would like to know the size of the hub bore on the old gmc/chevy 6 lug trucks. Looking at some newer wheels and i know this is a problem when using newer wheels. many have a hub bore too small. If anyone knows the exact size, i would like to know, and thanks.
