front sway bar question

Hi, I bought a sway bar for my 69 C/10, My question is: do I need to drill holes to mount it or are the holes already there? Does anyone know a thread where I can see pics of a sway bar mounted or being installed would be great. Or someone with knowledge of how to install it? Thanks
