timing & carb. id please
The only #'s i can find on the carb. are 2241 9635SA on the fr. rt. bolt flange no names anywhere
#1 Would you know what carb. this is in the picture. #2 How many turns on the air/fuel adj. i have it at 1 1/2now #3 What timing would i start with for a 327, HEI dist with a RV2 cam B-4 i adj. the air/fuel mix from about 3 1/2 turns down to 1 1/2 turns out the engine wouldnt stay running w/o giving it more gas & was surging while going down the road. At this point the only bad symptom is diesling once out of the last 3 times i turned it off but running pretty smooth. again thanks to all for the help

Re: timing & carb. id please
take air/fuel screws in till starts to stumble and bring back out 1 turn is how ive always set my CARTER AFBs (now edelbrocks)
the cam card should have a timing spec on it (look it up on manuf. website if you dont have it) 3 1/2 turns out was WAY WAY RICH thats why you needed more throttle (air) some info about your run-on problem.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dieseling |

Re: timing & carb. id please
So it's a grind for an I-4 used in a V-8 grind.

Re: timing & carb. id please
Cool beans... I've just never heard of one before.
Heard of "RV" cams... but not an RV2 specific. Gary
