Re: Th350 tranny kickdown cable

On my truck (small block V8, Edelbrock 4bbl, th350, 4wd) I'm using the TV cable the Chevrolet factory worker put on my 1971 Monte Carlo (small block V8, 2bbl).

I believe all the cables are the same. You just need the correct bracket that the near carb end of the cable clips in to.

On my truck I purchased an aftermarket Edelbrock piece.

Just this past weekend I re-confirmed the "kick down cable" still works. My poor truck spends its winters in 1st and 2nd gear plowing my driveway and driving out to the fish house. After pulling the plow Satruday I took it out on the paved county roads and dropped the hammer on the 383. Man that hurts when you bounce your head off the back window.
