shock advice please....
2wd blazer. Belltech 3" drop spindles in front. Bags in front and back. What to use for front shocks? I have shock relocators, super trac bar and notch in back. What to use for back?

Great question, I am doing the same exact setup, and wondering what shocks to use. As of right now, I have CPP Nitro drop shocks on my list......Any suggestions. I want the best value ride quality, I can't afford no shockwaves or nothin' like that, but best conventional shock to go with that will maintain a very nice ride quality.....

Ridetech and Porterbuilt both use Monroe shocks on their basic kits. Part number 33033 will work up front. There are a few options out back depending on your setup (blocks, mounts, etc). Try doing a search for Monroe part numbers here- you will find a lot of info from people who have walked this path before.
Best thing to do is go to the Monroe web site, which has a nice catalog with specs on all their shocks, and find the shock that fits your mounting style with the extended/collapsed lengths you need. Good luck, any more questions, let us know. -Chris

lets say i had a measurement of 8" aired out (bag empty) and 16" raised up (bag full). When i look for a shock would i look for one with 8" and 16" or Would i have to add any inches to my shock measurement to make sure it wouldn't bottom out? i hope that makes sense

You want a 'shorter than your measurements' shock collapsed, so in your case, 7 3/4" or less. You will not likely find a shock longer than 16" that compresses that far, so they will limit your lift some. This can be a good thing, as they will act as limit straps for suspension droop...
