2000 S10 Window Problem.
2000 S10 ZR2 power windows will not go up/down. Neither the driver side nor the passenger side will move. When I press down on the window switch it clicks about once every 0.5 seconds. For awhile, the problem was sporadic. Some days it worked, some days it didn't. Some days the passenger side would work and the drivers side wouldn't and visa versa. Now it appears to be permanent. I don't think the problem is electrical since I hear "clicking" when I press the windows switch.

To the site! I'm sure someone here can help, however I am going to move this to the S10 section. Located here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=130 They should be able to answer your question.

Re: 2000 S10 Window Problem.
remove door panel and check for powers and grounds at motor/s.
down---brown hot and blue ground up------blue hot and brown ground I think the click you hear is the switch. check those and in the mean time I will try to get the pinouts for the switches at work. 2 door right? |

Re: 2000 S10 Window Problem.
Update:
I changed out the driver side switch and now the passenger side windows will work but not the driver side. All fuses have been checked and I will do what you suggested. The S-10 is an extended cab pickup (three door). Thank you. Last edited by Eggszecutor; 04-22-2011 at 06:22 PM. |
