292 refresh

O.K. Now I started it!
Pulled the engine for a rear main seal job and decided to have my heads machined. I am looking at harded exhaust rings and three angle job.
Also thinking about new lifters, rockers basically all upper end.
I need advice for my lower end, as I really do not want to touch it.
What do you think?

Re: 292 refresh

since you have the head off check the cylanders for ridge on the bore and if the bores are not tapered. the only problem you might have is when you rebuild the head and not the bottom end you up the compression and if your rings are worn you will blow oil. i know because i did this on a 250 six. after not to long when you would let off the gas going down a hill it looked like the truck was on fire. lol
