hard to steer?
I know with no ps the steering is tough,, but my truck is a bear.. it has 215 radials on the front and the steering has about 1/8 of a turn of slop.. but this thing is hard on the arms,, any adjustments that I can make to loosen it up?
55 second series with 235,, and factory steering wheel.. thanks TC |

Have you done any thing to the front end new tie rods or ?? mine is all original and it's not to bad.I think your tires might hurt you a little allso I'm running 235/75/15.

Tire size is what is killing you. these were originally designed to skinny tires at high pressure. In the 60's a 6.50 was considered wide (6.5") most ran 5.50's. My first 4wd conversion used the stock box and it got destroyed with only 7" wide tires. Adding ps to 2wd is relatively easy, lots of threads here on how to do it.
