Floor Shift Tilt Column!!
Original floor shift tilt column from a 72' truck. Tilt is tight, turn signal cam still cancels and it has the horse shoe type connector. Levers are included, but they are not in the greatest shape. I do not have this removed just yet, so it may be a couple of days before it would ship. $525.00 shipped (48 states) Thanks, Greg

Re: Floor Shift Tilt Column!!
How about $500 shipped to me via priority mail in Alaska 99645?
I just need to double check that both the upper and lower bearings are tight, and there is no play or looseness in the tilt head. You already mentioned that the electrics are in good order. And that the steering wheel gets removed with no damage to the shaft. Sorry to be picky...let me know. John Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Floor Shift Tilt Column!!
John, I just checked it again, it has no more "play" in it than the brand new reconditioned unit I just put in my personal truck. That being said, all the ones I have ever come across have a very slight wiggle if you pull on them. This one is normal compared to the others I have seen, it is not anywhere near what I would call "loose". I do not think you would be dissappointed. The top bearing is tight and I have another lower if this one turns out to be bad once it's removed. I'm willing to work with you on the price, can you work with me a little on the shipping? Parcel post is $25.51 and Priority is $53.30. Thanks, Greg

Re: Floor Shift Tilt Column!!
Greg, How about $500 via parcel post...but with insurance and tracking. I don't really like parcel post as it takes 3-5 weeks to get to Alaska (by cargo ship) instead of airplane. Let me know.
John

Re: Floor Shift Tilt Column!!
Hey Greg sounds like you have a very nice hard to find item. We had one of the best in the business restore the tilt going in Jason's show truck (automatic) and it has a little wiggle and everything including bearings is new. I think this is the nature of the beast. Maybe some of the "tilt daddys" will chime in.

John, I'd also be willing to split the difference with you on priority, if that helps. Greg
