pic post

how does one go about inserting pics within the text of a thread vice all of them getting stuffed at the end of the thread by using the paperr clip attachment method? Much more useful to post them by the text where you're actually talkin about them than to put them in at the end only...

Yes, I know this should probably be posted somewhere else, but hopefully someone will answer before this get moved

Re: pic post

There are two ways to post pictures. I provided examples in the two posts that follow.
  1. FAQ thread about How To Attach Pictures can be found HERE This link applies to digital photos that are on the hard drive of your computer. Posting photos this way simply puts all the photos at the bottom of your post.

  2. If you use a site such as "Photobucket" or "Webshots" to store your photos, rather than storing them on your PC, you will cut and paste the URL code for the picture from that website and place the code right into the text of your post. This works great because you can add text, post a picture, add more text, post another picture, etc. (Webshots is another FREE photo and video storage site, that's the one I use. http://www.webshots.com/)

Aso Jocko there is Windows Live SkyDrive.

This is what I use the most.
Free online storage
Store, access, and share thousands of documents, photos, and Microsoft Office files on Windows Live SkyDrive. SkyDrive password-protects your files so you control who has access to them. When you upload pictures here you can just (insert image) instead of attaching photos using the ( Managing Attachments ) tool.

Also:
Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011.
Import photos from your camera, organize them into albums, and edit them so they look their best. Use powerful photo tools to create stunning panoramas, movies, slide shows, and more. When you're ready to share, publish your photos and videos to your favorite websites like Facebook and Flickr directly from Photo Gallery.

And Windows Live Photo Gallery for Windows XP:
Photos made fun.
With Photo Gallery, it's a snap to get your photos and videos from your camera to your PC. Find your favorite photos and share them with friends and family. Make your great photos look even better, and create impressive panoramic photos too.

Photo Gallery is part of Windows Live Essentials , which includes free programs for photos, movies, instant messaging, email, blogging, family safety, and more. Get Photo Gallery or get them all—they're free!

Re: pic post

You can also use the gallery here on the forum. At first when I tried to use it I didn't like it (3 years ago). In the past couple of months I have used it and I kind of like it. It's free as well. Just copy the IMG code of the pic into your message. It took me a little bit to figure it out.
