VIN decode
Can someone please help me decode my vin #?? I have been trying to do it using the LMC catalog and its not really matching up.
CE141J641489 According to the LMC the first two letters means my truck is a GMC not a chevy right? And the J means it was built in janesville. But I dont know what the rest means. Please help. Thanks |

Re: VIN decode
Yes, because your 4th digit is not a 0. GMC would have been CE10XXXXX

Re: VIN decode
My vin has an additional C at the beginning. What does that mean?
Nevermind. I just read that the 72s had an extra C that stood for Chevy. Last edited by 99-LS1-SS; 05-01-2011 at 09:11 AM. |
