1970 GMC Custom Deluxe 30 Front End

I have a 1970 GMC Custom Deluxe 30 Custom Camper that the mechanic tells me that I need a front end rebuild kit. I need to find the kit but most companies list for a C20 not C30.

Where would the best place to start looking for the kit be? Are the parts the same, or is the C30 just not listed and I have to call?

Thanks
Mike

I'm pretty sure the 3/4-ton and 1-ton balljoints and tie rods ends are the same.
Anyone else know for sure?

Re: 1970 GMC Custom Deluxe 30 Front End

Thanks for the responce. I have since called the companies that sell the kits for C10 & C20 and was told that they do not offer one for the C30.
Thanks
Mike

Re: 1970 GMC Custom Deluxe 30 Front End

They use the same parts.
I checked O'Reilly Automotive's website.

C20 and C30 ball joints and tie rods are the same part numbers.

All Moog Parts:

Upper Ball joint: K680
Lower Ball joint: K6025

Inner tie rod: ES358R
Outer tie rod: ES358L

Buy your parts locally.
