I was running the valves before tonights race. #1 exhaust and #8 exhaust had excessive lash.
Turns out the pushrod/rocker arm adjuster were galled.
Stuff happens when you run high spring pressure/big lift and 7500 rpm.
Time for new pushrods and adjusters. Just another $500 dollar bill.

Odered the adjusters from T&D machine on Monday...got here today. Push rods to come any day. Dam racing gets expensive "fast"(pun intended)

It maybe a little optimistic...I'm assuming it will run when I put it back together...lol
According to map quest I'm 5 hours away. Probably are going to stay Friday night in Los Banos.

Well let us know if it fires up ok. I need to get a drive shaft made (The one that's in there will work, but...) I'm pretty much ready to go..
