Blazer Tub for sale
I know this isn't in classifieds, but figured the blazer guys would want this more than anyone, so thought I would post it here. Got a two for one deal going on blazers... instead of going through the hassle of trying to locate a title for the second one I'm just going to sell it as a replacement body. The guy who owned it kept it at a family yard, and long story short, his sisters b/f cut the engine out with a torch. Crossmember below the engine is missing, and it currently doesn't have axles, but I'll be putting a set on, so no biggie there, it will roll.
Due to the cut out engine, I managed to get this one from him for a song, he wanted 1200 each, I got the pair for 1200. He went 400 on this one and 800 on the other one. Now I know that these things aren't easy to find so I'd like it to go to someone who needs one. Basically I'd like to sell it as it sits without parting anything out, but if it comes down to it, I'll part it out. Here's a few pictures... The top that's on it will be swapped out for the top on the one I keep, as I don't like the luggage rack that's on the other one. I spent about 50 bucks hauling it home, and I'll be putting a matched set of stock axles underneath it. I think 600 bucks is a fair price for the whole thing. PM me if you are interested. |

How bad are the doors? Got any pics of them, the torque boxes as well and the firewall? Thanks

If you do decide to part it out please put me in line for the front and rear carpet strips. Thanks, Wayne.

Re: Blazer Tub for sale
Moved to the blazers classifieds for you (proper area and where people looking for blazers will look)
If you do part it, interested in seeing the luggage rack and I'd like the rear rubber mats and the passenger seatbelt if factory and intact

Re: Blazer Tub for sale
WOW, got a ton of hits, OK, I'll add some more details for everyone interested. Originally this came with no title. Called the DMV to figure out how to get one, she looked up the previous owner via vin # and it was actually her sister in laws parents. So she knows them. She said with a vin inspection and a bill of sale she'd go ahead and get me a title. SO I'm doing that later today. It will be a clean title when I'm done, that will cost me about 30 bucks, cheap if you ask me.
I'm currently in Cody, Wyoming. Pack up the family and go to Yellowstone, it's a win win! On to details of the rig, It's a 72 4x4. From what I can see the doors and fenders on it look good, however, if you re not happy with them, I know a place out here that is a goldmine for parts. No blazers, but dozens of good trucks of this vintage. We'd be able to find whatever parts you needed when you came to get it, or if you shipped it, I could scrounge them up for you too. Firewall looks pretty good, I haven't crawled around it a lot, but I did look over the problem areas. Here are a couple more picts. |

Re: Blazer Tub for sale
A couple more pictures. Just to Clarify here, I'm not sure which of the two a couple of these pictures belong to, but they were in VERY similar condition. I think these are all from this blazer. I will snap some more tonight that I KNOW will be from it.
