Upper control arms
got a pair of southern upper control arms. great shape. the ones on the truck are rotten to hell. unfortunatley to take the originals off i cannot just unbolt them, the threads are to rotten. and as i can see the bolts that hold the control arm its self are welded to the bracket which then bolts to the frame. is that bracket replaceable? the 4 bolts used to bolt the bracket to the frame can be replaced but am afraid the bracket its self may need to be replaced as well.

Re: Upper control arms
the bracket is replacable.. im not sure if its welded or riveted, but i had a similar situation and the shop i used (cause i wasnt attempting this on a gravel driveway) was able to get the bolts out and replace them without doing the bracket
