5 or 6 speed swap?
Does anyone have experience with swapping a 5 or 6 speed into a truck with an existing 4 speed? Just curious how much fabrication is required and what parts are required, besides the transmission of course.

Re: 5 or 6 speed swap?
NV4500 is one way to go if you want a truck trans. There are many writeups on the swap.
I have one in the garage for my 4x4 but I'm hoping to run across a better TC, and need to do some reassembling of the truck before starting another project on it. Be aware that modernizing the trans can get spendy |
