New 68 C10 from WA
Hello all,
I have been reading through this forum for a few weeks now while looking at trucks trying to figure out exactly what I wanted. It took me a while to find the 4 speed that I wanted but ended up getting a really good deal on this one. I plan on putting power steering on it and doing a 3.5 / 4 drop. It's far from my only toy but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I've already put the trim back on and started pounding out the dents. |

Re: New 68 C10 from WA
Thanks for the welcome.
Since I took these pics I finished installing the tach. Kind of regret getting one with a chrome ring because of the glare off the windshield but it's tolerable. Then I tried my hand at fixing the trim that was bent and missing. Came out ok... not great though. I really have to sand it a lot to get my polisher to shine it up all the way. I'll get back to that after some other things are fixed on the truck. Spent some time with rubbing compound getting it to shine a little and it's looking much better now. One more bed side left to go. Decided to drive it to work on Wednesday and discovered the carb is leaking a little gas on to the intake so it's time for the HEI, Edelbrock intake and 600cfm Edelbrock carb that I have sitting around to go in. Maybe after that I'll tackle the huge dent in the passenger fender. Been digging through this forum trying to figure out power steering and disk brake swaps also. |

Lot's of great folks and information. as Nick pointed out, we Northwest folks try and get together at least a couple of time each year and enjoy helping one another out whenever we can. Don't be shy about asking questions either, you will find a wealth of info is lurking in the minds of many. Drew

Re: New 68 C10 from WA
Welcome to the site man! Was stationed at Ft. Lewis up until 2000 when I got out of the Army - WAY too much rain up there, but it is pretty. Look forward to seeing more of the truck!
