If my Blazer had started with a decent 350, I might have left it alone. It was born with a 305 that started life with only 150 hp. It had 200k miles on it when I bought it, and was running good, but not for long. It's in a better place now.

I looked hard at the 502/502 as well. I even considered the Ram Jet 502 when it came along. I decided to go with the LS1 to be different. Too bad it's taking so long to get done. Now days you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an LS1 coversion...

Our trucks are just like real life "size does matter"....
