'92 return fuel line
On my 92 s10 the rubber portion of my return fuel line has sprung a leak (squirrels were thirsty). The dealerships have discontinued this part (lucky me) so can anyone tell me where I might be able to find one or how I might repair it?
I have tried several different junk yards, but no luck. The truck has the 4.3 v6 w/auto tranny and short wheel base. This is the line that one of the rubber ends (rubber ends and hard line in between) hooks onto the fuel tank and the other end hooks onto another hard line under the cab. Does anyone know how much pressure this line is under? Could I cut the rubber portion and clamp a pipe in between? Does anyone have one for sale? Thanks for any input. |

Re: '92 return fuel line
you could just get some 3/8 fuel line to replace it. There isn't enough pressure on a fuel system to blow the line's off if you have a good clamp. Just take a small peice of line to any auto parts store and get what you need.
