Alright so here's the deal I got my truck from my dad about ten years back when i was 12. It was totally torn down and missing about 25% of the truck if not more so bout two years ago got out of school got a decent job and started dumping alot of $$$ into the truck bought thorbecke tca's front and rear bags drop spindles disc brakes etc. rebuilt 350. Since then bought a house and got married and there just isn't any truck money at the moment and wont be for awhile. Ive had this truck way too long to nothave it driving. So the dilemma is I am missing the air management system should I slowly save up until I can afford one or should I just sell and trade my air stuff and go to static drop and jus be done with my suspension, every 10min I change my mind on what to do im really itching to jus be able to drive this truck. Someone I need some advice!

your not going to get at all what you payed for with the air equipment if you try to sell it right now, I would wait that extra time and get what you need. Its going to be worth it big time if you wait and get what you want, instead of half assing it. Ive had that same situation to me happen many times and allways ended up unhappy in the end. and low on cash.

long story short. wait, and save up!

what parts are you needing to complete? maybe you can set it up for manual, drive it, then continue saving for the management part of it, shouldnt be a whole bunch of stuff should it?

def save up..im about in the same situation as you...actually, the exact situation! lol

i just keep telling myself im gonna have the baddest burb around here once its rolling. i have enough parts and things to do though (without buying more) to get it rolling.

if i were you, i would do a manual valve setup first, that would save a lot of money. get a tank, the manual valves, and airline...then as time goes on , grab the electric valves and switches and wiring and compressors. that way your still bagged, and it just gets cooler as you go!

I don't really know anything about manual valves tell me more how do they work where is a good place to get them

I would start by subscribing here so you can advertise your parts. From there I would sell the TCA's and run stock arms if you have them. Get a few bucks and buy a paddle valve system from Way2lo2, and put it together. Progress equals motivation.

I say keep saving, everything good is worth the wait. You won't be happy if you take it back apart for the sake of getting it done now. Just wait and keep saving, it'll be worth it big time.

agree with n2trux on the arms. you dont NEED them to bag your truck is still be low.

the money you get for your arms should bring in the entire paddle valve setup..or close to it.
