Long Tube Headers?
Hi everyone,
I would like to put full length headers on my 50 Chevy truck with a 496 stroker. I have block huggers now. Is there any manufacturer that offers a set that will fit this truck? Thanks in advance for any help. Renegade |

Re: Long Tube Headers?
Sanderson makes them for the Task Force trucks. Not sure about the earlier trucks. If you have changed your steering setup you may not need some specific to that truck.

Re: Long Tube Headers?
My truck has a TCI mustang II with power rack. I have a Flaming River steering column. I have not set up my steering linkage yet, as I was waiting to see if I could put the full length headers on this truck.
Thanks, Renegade |

Re: Long Tube Headers?
renegade i assume your 496 is a big block right... my 350 can fit long tube doug's headers. but a big block probably cant tuck in to the frame rails. i would expect them to fit through the in fenders with some cutting. you may have to hand make yours. Sanderson has manifold style headers. not as efficient as the long tube but they should fit
