Large nut on pitman arm...
...on the steering box side of the pitman for power steering. What's the size of that nut? I forgot to measure it before I left my dad's place last night. Now I need to buy a socket for it but I don't know what size it is.
It's larger than 1 1/4". 1 1/8" maybe?

?? 1 1/8" is smaller than 1 1/4"! I know you knew that, it's a typo. It is larger than 1 1/4" but smaller than 1 1/2". That's as far as I got before I just pulled out the BFAW (like a BFH, but it's an adjustable wrench) and torqued it down as far as I could.

Oops. Meant to type 1 3/8". I'll take my dunce hat off now.
 I know it's smaller than 1 7/16", because that's the size of the big nuts on the upper control arms, and the socket I have for that is loose on the pitman arm nut. It MIGHT be 1 5/16" but that's a pretty small step up from 1 1/4"... Anyone?
