New Guy From the North with 66's
Just wanted to say "HI" Im new to the site and just purchased 3 1966 Chevy short bed trucks ( never bid on multiple trucks at the same time..... )
This site is going to be a great source for us as we try to get these rides road worthy. Here is a quick cell pic of the triplets on their way home. Thx MB |

Thanks . I'm going to turn one in to a shop truck and likely wrench on the other two, clean them up and resell them. I'm hoping the market for these in my area is good. Time will tell I guess.

Thanks . I've been driving these trucks over the weekend, they are really neat to drive. Funny that a $7K truck brings more laughs and smiles than a new $70K truck does.....

Good to see you're enjoying them. I drive mine 55 (90kmh) down the local autobahn and enjoy my rolling truck show. LOL!!
Mine's even more of a blast cause it's radio delete. LOL!!!! |

Re: New Guy From the North with 66's
I have a few other cars and trucks , buffed paint, polished chrome ...... but Im blown away by all the attention these old trucks get.
I had a girl stop me yesterday at the gas pumps to ask if they could use the white fleetside in a country music video they were shooting. Kind of neat meeting and talking to people about them . I know what you mean re the radio, I turn mine off so I can hear the engine . there must me be some good gears in the 12 bolt , that combined with a 3 speed it screams at hwy speed. MB |

What's even crazier is when the city bus pulls up along side at a red light, the big door slides open and the bus driver asks about your truck. Priceless!!!
