I understand, I was just kidding, good luck on what ever you do with your truck. It really looks nice. Kieth

That thing is SWEEET!

A 3/5 drop will look nice. Just make sure that the tires won't rub in the front, and you might lose your ability to haul anything with a 5" (spring-only) rear drop.

It's hauling days are probably over anyway!

Re: She's coming today

Was thinkin 3-4 after talking to the guy at CCP he suggested the heavy duty 4 rear springs he said the 5's drop too far on longbeds due to the weight and then look funny. I think I can get away with the tires I have for now on the drop in front but will measure carefully first. As for hualing it has a nice redone wood and stainless steel bed so no not gonna haul much

You will be surprised at how much a 4" drop really looks when the truck is sitting there in front of you. If your'e gonna use this truck and drive it alot I would'nt lower it any more than 4 in the rear and then I would get the front to sit just a little lower. You will love the stance! I promise!

Eventually hope to go lower in front with drop spindles when I can save up for the disc brakes, mine has the over load springs I wonder if I can leave them on? As for the read drop I am considering the 3" springs and a block that way I have room to grow and it won't look too low in the rear vs. the front as all I can afford for the front for now is the 3" spring the spindles will have to come later.

Re: She's coming today

question are you going to put 3" drop springs on and drop spindles? if you are thats lower then just doing a 3-4! thats more of a 5.5 drop in the front! i went with 2" drop springs and 2.5" drop spindles on the front of mine and 3" drop springs and 2" lowering blocks!! and i have the stock springs for the front so if i want to raise it all up 2", all i got to do is take the blocks out the back and put the stock springs back in up front an get the right shocks for the front!! don't know if this helps you or not just my .02 cents

For now going with just the 3" front coil later when I save up for the 2.5" drop spindle I will replace the coil with either the 1" or 2" drop coil I know it leaves me with a 3" coil I won't need but for $95 I can replace it and sell it for half off and it'll help with the recoup of costs but ya I considered what you are saying maybe some day 5.5 and a 6 in the rear with a notch but for now a little more mild as that would require a different tire and wheel combo to avoid rubbing but would look sweet. Don't think it will ever lay frame but may get low someday.
